Butta 45's Tour Diary (Part 3)

After a couple of days off, it was time to hit the road again and rock the 3rd weekend of this year's BUTTA 45's Germany/Switzerland tour. The first stop was the Roxy in Köln. Like last year, we collaborated with the local Filmclub 813 to bring something extra special to the table. While they hosted us in their vintage 50's venue last time, we returned the favor and with their help transformed the Roxy club into an authentic analog cinema with both 35mm and Super 8 projectors. While the screening was great the party started off right away afterwards and people kept dancing for four hours straight. We were lucky to get some sleep before heading down South on the ICE train. In Freiburg, we immediately noticed the beauty, calm and tolerant vibe with which the city greets you. After having dropped our stuff it was time for some proper Baden dinner with regional specialties including some great local beers. Thanks to Tom, our host, for providing us with everything we needed and making us feel welcome. As you can see in the short clip, The Great Räng Teng Teng, which definitely an outstanding venue, was packed to the fullest and the crowd was moving and grooving until 5 am in the morning. After a little nap it was time to ride back home and get some rest before the upcoming final tour weekend with two more great parties, cities and people ahead!
